Martha E. Piekarski, CPA/CFF, CGMA, RTSBA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Martha E. started their career in 2002 as the Executive Director of Financial Services for El Paso Independent School District and held this position until 2014. Martha then joined Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center as the Senior Director of Accounting Services for a brief period before moving to Canutillo ISD in 2014. At Canutillo ISD, they served as the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for various areas including finance, facilities, maintenance, transportation, technology, food service, security, and warehouse. Concurrently, they also worked for the Internal Revenue Service as a Certified VITA Tax Preparer from 2013 to 2015.

Martha E. Piekarski, CPA/CFF, CGMA, RTSBA pursued their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting at The University of Texas at Austin from 1981 to 1983. Upon completion, they obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in June 1986.
