Jennifer A.

Jennifer A. serves as the Vice President of Generative AI, AI/ML, and IFX Risk at Capital One since June 2025. Prior to this role, Jennifer was the Senior Director of Artificial Intelligence at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, overseeing the Private Sector Office and fostering partnerships in cybersecurity and emerging technologies. Jennifer's extensive experience includes leadership roles in national security, digital equity, and artificial intelligence initiatives, including as Executive Director of the Secretary's Artificial Intelligence Safety and Security Board. Previous positions include founding Inara Strategies LLC, directing business development at CrossComm, and leading a private sector competitiveness project with DAI in the Palestinian Territories. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Chicago and a Master of Arts in International Economics and International Development from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
