Lester Kho

Lester Kho has an extensive work experience in tax and finance roles. Lester is currently the Vice President of Group Tax at CapitaLand since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Tax for the Asia Pacific region at OMERS from 2021 to 2022. From 2018 to 2020, Lester was a Senior Manager of Group Tax at CapitaLand, where they collaborated with investment and finance teams on international deals, compliance matters, and fund management. Before that, they held the position of Regional Tax Manager at Informa from 2017 to 2018, focusing on advisory projects and ensuring tax compliance for multiple countries. Lester started their career at PwC Singapore in 2008 and worked there as a Senior Manager of Corporate Tax Advisory Services until 2017, providing tax advice on investments and managing tax compliance services for various clients.

Lester Kho completed their Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours at Nanyang Business School from 2005 to 2008. In 2010 and 2011, they pursued an Advanced Tax Programme at the Tax Academy of Singapore. In 2022, they received the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Additionally, Lester has obtained the following certifications: ISCA 10 Years Membership Milestone Badge from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants in 2020, Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) from Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals in 2013, and Chartered Accountant of Singapore from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants in 2013.
