Giancarlo Bruno

Giancarlo Bruno was appointed Senior Vice President, Head of Chile of Capstone Copper in March 2022 following the combination of Capstone Mining and Mantos Copper. Giancarlo was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Mantos Copper for 7 years. He is a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience in executive positions in large Chilean mining companies, primarily in operations. Prior to joining Mantos Copper, he served as a senior executive at Anglo American Chile, including as Vice President of Operations at Anglo Norte, Chief Executive Officer at Collahuasi, and General Manager of El Soldado. Giancarlo has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa Maria.
