Jerrold Annett

Jerrold Annett, P.Eng. has a long and varied work experience in the mining and finance sectors. Jerrold most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Capital Markets at Capstone Mining from 2019. Prior to that, they held senior executive positions at Augusta Group, including CEO and SVP of Corporate Development, from 2017 to 2019. In these roles, they played a key role in the development and execution of corporate strategy, provided strategic direction to the investor relations department, and successfully led an international marketing road-show for a substantial initial public offering.

Before joining Augusta Group, Jerrold had an extensive career in institutional equity sales. From 2008 to 2017, they worked at Scotiabank as the Head of Mining Institutional Equity Sales, where they provided specialized investment advice on companies in the global metals and mining sector. Jerrold built strong relationships with corporate executives and maintained effective relationships with institutional investors, equity analysts, and investment bankers.

Prior to Scotiabank, Jerrold had short stints at Mackie Research Capital and MGI Securities in institutional equity sales. Before transitioning into sales, they worked at Glencore as the Manager of Copper Cathode & By-Product Sales from 2006 to 2007.

Jerrold started their career in the mining industry, working for Teck Resources Limited in various roles, including Technical Sales Manager from 2001 to 2005, Metallurgist from 1996 to 1997, and Process Metallurgist from 1998 to 2000. Jerrold also had a brief experience as a Student Engineer at Vale in 1995.
