Frank Giordano

Frank Giordano has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Frank has worked as a Senior Director in Commercial Supply Chain at Cara Therapeutics since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant for various companies, where they were involved in quality systems re-engineering, sourcing, and procurement functions. Frank also has experience in pharmaceutical operations and quality, including technology transfer, CMO management, project management, and consent decree management. Notably, they worked as a Director at Schering Plough/Merck, where they led the team responsible for transferring drug manufacturing and testing methods to contract manufacturers. Frank also headed a group at Schering-Plough, managing global change management and document control systems, as well as overseeing quality systems and pharmaceutical sourcing and development.

Frank Giordano received their BS in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University, where they studied from 1975 to 1979. Frank later pursued a MS in Engineering Management at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 1984 to 1988.
