Clare Fitzsimons

Clare Fitzsimons has a diverse work experience background, starting in 2012 with an internship at NoFit State. Clare then served as the Chairperson at Dublin Circus Project from 2011 to 2012. Clare worked as an Administrator at ISACS- Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle Network from September to December 2012. Clare then took on the role of Circus and Events Producer as a freelancer from September to December 2012. From February 2013 to October 2015, they worked as an Assistant Producer at NoFit State. Following that, Clare worked as a Creative Producer as a freelancer from October 2015 to August 2017. From September 2017 to August 2018, they held the position of Programme Intake and Evaluation Co-ordinator at FITZSIMONS CONSULTING LTD. Clare later worked as an English Lecturer at Coleg Gwent from October 2018 to May 2019 as part of their PGCE PcET Qualification. Currently, Clare is working as an Essential Skills Lecturer (Creative) at Cardiff and Vale College, starting in September 2019.

Clare Fitzsimons has a comprehensive education history. In 2018 to 2019, they attended the University of South Wales, where they obtained a PGCE (PcET) degree in the field of Post Compulsory Education and Training. Prior to that, in 2011 to 2012, Clare pursued an MA degree in Arts Management and Cultural Policy at University College Dublin. Continuing their studies at the same institution, they completed an MA degree in Philosophy from 2006 to 2007. Clare's undergraduate education was also at University College Dublin, where they earned a BA degree in English and Philosophy between 2003 and 2006.
