Our mission is to improve outcomes and decrease the cost of healthcare for spine surgery. The Carlsmed aprevo® personalized surgery platform is designed to improve the standard of care for spine surgery one patient at a time. 

Position Description 

The Senior Events Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating activities for industry trade shows, society meetings, and corporate events.  

Responsibilities 

  • Drive the conceptualization and execution of experiential events for large-scale industry conferences, regional training and education events, corporate events, and virtual events.

  • Lead the planning with internal stakeholders, marketing partners and cross-functional team members to develop and execute short- and long-term event strategies, budgets, and communication schedules.

  • Manage all event planning milestones and estimates for project scope, venue sourcing, third-party partners, scheduling, and resource requirements.

  • Coordinate all aspects of travel to surgeon and sales representative education and training events for surgeon faculty, surgeon attendees and select Carlsmed faculty and attendees.

  • Partner with content owners, stakeholders, in-house creative team and external agencies on the production and execution of trade show and event deliverables

  • Oversee Carlsmed attendance for tradeshows and conferences and coordinate booth staffing schedule.

  • Manage all demonstration equipment needs for trade shows and corporate events.

  • Handle on-site logistics for events, including food & beverage, A/V needs, room set-up, room blocks, etc.

  • Collaborate with marketing communications to amplify experiential efforts via press releases, social media, and website.

  • Manage vendor proposals, recommendations and statements of work and contracts.

  • Partner with brand and product marketing to ensure successful measurement of ROI.

  • Manage all budget and related financial responsibilities, including estimates, deposits and invoicing, billing, and event expense reconciliation, provide detailed post-show expense reporting.

  • Present post-mortem analysis and recommendations for future event improvement.

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience in tradeshow and event management, plus 3 years of medical device industry experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field

  • Strong experience using Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PPT, etc.).

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Compensation

We are pleased to provide a competitive salary and benefits. Our benefits reflect our investment in the overall health and well-being of our employees and their families. including paying 100% of monthly healthcare, dental & vision insurance premiums, a 401(k) plan with employer matching and unlimited PTO. The expected pay range is: $115K-145K annually. Compensation may vary based on related skills, experience, and relevant key attributes.
