Dan Jemiolo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Dan is currently the Senior Vice President of Engineering at CarNow, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Salesforce from 2013 to 2022, holding several positions including Vice President of Engineering, Senior Director of Engineering, and Director of Engineering. At Salesforce, they were responsible for leading and managing teams, overseeing the development of UI frameworks and application services, and contributing to strategic projects. Before Salesforce, they worked at EMC as a Principal Engineer for two years and at IBM as a Software Engineer for seven years. At EMC, they oversaw feature work and played a major role in the design and development of Data Domain Management Center and Data Domain System Manager. At IBM, they were involved in the development of IBM Workload Deployer and led a project that eventually became Apache Muse. Dan received recognition for their contributions to web services standards via Apache Muse and was awarded IBM's Outstanding Technical Achievement Award.

Dan Jemiolo completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Dan then went on to obtain a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the same institution, completing their studies in 2004.
