C. Lucinda Dozier

C. Lucinda Dozier, DNP BsBA RN has a diverse and extensive work experience. C. Lucinda is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Services at CaroMont Health since September 2021. Before this, they founded and served as the CEO of InTrust Healthcare & Legal Consulting, where they provided consultation to legal counsel regarding cases involving nurse and/or provider malpractice in the acute or ambulatory environment. C. Lucinda has expertise in standards of practice, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements applicable to healthcare facilities.

Prior to their role at InTrust Healthcare & Legal Consulting, Dozier worked as the Vice President of Clinical Services at Hospice of the Piedmont (North Carolina) from February 2020 to September 2021. C. Lucinda also held the position of Senior Director, Heart & Vascular Institute at Novant Health from February 2017 to January 2020.

Dozier has also held leadership positions at Cone Health as the Director of Nursing & Operations, Urgent Care Division from January 2015 to January 2017, and at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Ambulatory Services from October 2011 to December 2014. During their tenure at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, they also served as the Director of Operations, Family & Community Medicine from January 2011 to October 2011 and as a Case Management Nurse from January 2010 to December 2010.

Furthermore, Dozier served as the Director, Critical Care & Cardiovascular Services at Carteret Health Care from July 2009 to December 2009. C. Lucinda also worked at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as the Senior Nursing Operations Manager from October 2005 to July 2009 and as an Assistant Nurse Manager / Staff Nurse from July 2001 to October 2005. In these roles, they were responsible for providing leadership and delivering direct patient care in various specialty nursing units.

Throughout their career, Dozier has achieved numerous accomplishments, including implementing process improvements, developing departmental policies and protocols, and improving patient satisfaction scores. C. Lucinda has also demonstrated their ability to streamline resources, increase market share, and facilitate cultural change within clinical environments.

C. Lucinda Dozier, DNP, BsBA, RN, has a diverse educational background. C. Lucinda holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in Executive Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Additionally, they have a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree in Nursing Administration from East Carolina University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in Nursing Leadership from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Furthermore, they have an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Surry Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus in Management from Appalachian State University.

In terms of certifications, C. Lucinda Dozier is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) by the American Heart Association. C. Lucinda also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from MSI and a Project Management Essentials Certified (PMEC) certification, also from MSI. Moreover, they are a Registered Nurse, certified by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
