Lindsay Odvody Esq., SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience. Lindsay began their career in 2003, working for the United States Senate as an Executive Scheduler, before moving on to become a Deputy Legislative Assistant and later a General Counsel and Senior Legislative Assistant. In 2005, Lindsay transitioned to the private sector as an Associate Lobbyist at Duane Morris Government Affairs, LLC. Lindsay then returned to the United States Senate in 2007 to work as an Ethics, Grants, and Constituent Services Advisor. In 2009, Lindsay joined the staff of US Senator Mike Johanns as an Ethics, Grants, and Constituent Services Advisor. Lindsay left the Senate to become the Grants Manager for the Robert Daugherty Charitable Trust, where they managed and administered the grant process for non-profit community applicants. Lindsay then joined the First National Bank of Omaha in 2012, first as a Compliance Analyst, then as a Senior Compliance Associate, and later as a Senior Analyst in Consumer Banking, specializing in regulatory compliance. Lindsay was eventually promoted to Director of Total Rewards, where they were responsible for the strategic design and implementation of enterprise-wide Human Resources programs. In 2020, Lindsay joined the National Counterterrorism, Innovation, Technology, and Education Center (NCITE) as the Director of Operations, overseeing all business operations and a $3.65 million annual budget. Currently, Lindsay works at Carson Group, where they have held the roles of Director of Compensation and Total Rewards and is currently serving as the Vice President of Talent. In this position, they have been responsible for overseeing all compensation, benefits, rewards, and talent operations, implementing job level, title, pay, and competency architecture, designing a long-term incentive program, and leading organizational design efforts. Lindsay is dedicated to the development and leadership of people and has frequently served as a speaker on the topic of total rewards.
Lindsay Odvody, Esq., SHRM-SCP, holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law. Lindsay also earned a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In addition to their academic achievements, Lindsay Odvody has obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in 2023.
