Zoe Shir is currently serving as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia since August 2023 and holds the position of Student Attorney at the Disability Rights Law Clinic. With experience as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for CASA DC and a Senior Staffer for the American University Law Review, Zoe has actively engaged in legal and advocacy roles. Previous internships include the Public Safety Division at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia and the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney in Arlington County, VA. Zoe's early experience includes serving as a Judicial Intern at the Broward County Courthouse and as a Teaching Assistant at the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington, supplemented by cross-cultural studies at the O'Neill School and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
