Targomo is a Berlin-based growing solution provider specialized in location intelligence, enabling companies to make the right location decisions. Our web-based platform, TargomoLOOP, supports well-known retail, hospitality, and quick commerce companies in +25 countries with location analysis.
We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to drive our sales pipeline within the DACH market and beyond, by generating and qualifying leads, collaborating with the sales team, and providing valuable insights to help us continuously improve.
Responsibilities:
Product Understanding: Gain comprehensive knowledge of our products and effectively convey their value to (potential) customers in diverse industries, such as retail, hospitality, and fitness.
Lead Generation: Execute outbound prospecting initiatives, persistently follow up with leads, and qualify potential customers through multiple communication channels.
Customer Focus: Identify decision makers, customer pain points, and needs to position the product appropriately and address potential objections in the first stages of the sales process.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and product updates, tailoring communication strategies accordingly.
Collaboration: Work closely together with the sales team to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads.
Provide Feedback: Channel feedback obtained from lead interactions back to marketing and product teams, contributing valuable insights to refine messaging and optimize targeting.
Tracking: Manage and update leads and opportunities diligently in our CRM, ensuring accurate progress tracking.
Requirements (not all must be met):
First experience in a sales role and a proven track record of bringing in qualified leads is beneficial
Ability to take the customers' perspective and support them in their decision-making
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills in English and German
Proficient in effective communication and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Tech-savvy with an interest in technological innovation
Strong self-motivation and ability to take the initiative
Experience within the real estate, retail, Proptech, or data industry is a plus
