John Cullen

John Cullen has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. John started their career as a Research Engineer at Ricoh California Research Center, where they worked on advanced imaging systems for 12 years and holds 33 patents for their work on image processing and pattern recognition. After that, they worked as a Senior Applications Engineer at OMIX, managing groups of engineers to build dynamic websites for customers. John then joined Yahoo Inc as an Engineering Manager, where they led the team that delivered the first version of the Resumix/Hot Jobs Hiring Gateway product. John continued their journey as a Captain at Gaslight before joining World Wide Compensation Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer. At World Wide Compensation Inc., they played a vital role in implementing a highly configurable portlet UI model for building Compensation Plans. Later, they worked at Taleo as a Senior Software Engineer, extending the code for the administration side of the product. At Oracle, they served as an Engineering Manager, managing the team that developed the WWC Compensation Planning System. John then joined ServiceMax as a Director of Engineering, where they oversaw multiple development teams, driving capacity planning and improving feature definition. In their most recent role, they served as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Cast & Crew Entertainment Services.

John Cullen obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1998. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Experimental Physics at University College Dublin from 1981 to 1985. John also attended CBS Cahersiveen in Ireland, earning their High School diploma from 1975 to 1980.
