Seija Aaltonen

Seija Aaltonen has extensive experience in IT architecture and management. Seija is currently working as the Head of IT Architecture at Caverion, where they lead the Enterprise Architecture work and ensures alignment with business needs. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Manager in Process IT and Enterprise IT Architecture at Caverion, where they developed strategies and prioritized demands in collaboration with business stakeholders. Seija also worked as an Enterprise Architect at YIT and held the role of Managing Consultant at IBM, leading successful international projects. Seija started their career as a Senior Consultant at Capgemini Finland, specializing in SAP development and deployment programs. Before moving into IT, Seija served as a Logistic Manager at VTI Technologies.

Seija Aaltonen completed a Diploma in IT Leadership at Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development in 2018. In 2021, they obtained certification in ITIL 4 Foundation from Tieturi. Seija earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering/Industrial Management from Walter Ahlström between 1990 and 1994. Seija also completed courses in Becoming Agile at Sofigate in 2021 and the Team Player Academy at Reaktor in 2023.
