Andrea Morales

Research Associate at CB Therapeutics

Andrea Morales started working at CB Therapeutics in 2021 as a Research Associate. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Student Researcher at San Francisco State University from August 2018 to December 2020, where they independently developed and completed a research project and trained new lab members. Andrea also used confocal microscopy to characterize fluorescence signatures of L. rhamsosus and S. mutans.

From September 2017 to November 2020, Andrea worked as a Research Educational Dental Assistant at the University of California, San Francisco. Additionally, they worked as a Dental Assistant at Park Smile Orthodontics and Family Dentistry from 2018 to 2020.

Andrea's earlier work experience includes being a Supplemental Instruction Co-Facilitator for General Chemistry and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at San Francisco State University from August 2016 to August 2017. Andrea continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from 2018 to 2020. While pursuing their degrees, they also obtained additional certifications. In August 2018, they received an X-Ray Operator Certificate from the Bay Area Dental Assisting Institute. In September 2017, they completed Autoclave Training at San Francisco State University. Additionally, in May 2017, they obtained training in Collaborative Institute Training Initiative (CITI) Human subject research, although the institution where they obtained this training is not specified.
