Daniel Tackett has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Daniel started their career at Great American Financial Resources as a Desktop Level 2 technician and worked there from April 2007 to October 2010. Daniel then moved on to GE, where they worked as an Innovations Developer from October 2010 to April 2012, creating software tools for operating system deployments and specific business needs. After that, they joined Hewlett-Packard as a Desktop Systems and Citrix Engineer, managing and maintaining Citrix server infrastructure from April 2012 to April 2016. Lastly, they joined CBTS in 2016 and has held the roles of Citrix System Engineer and currently serves as an Enterprise Solutions Architect in Cloud Engineering. In their current position, they are responsible for system architecture, maintenance, capacity planning, and overall system performance for Citrix as a service. Daniel has also worked on various projects related to Citrix, including NetScaler ADC, nFactor authentication, SAML SSO, and PVS system transitions. Daniel has expertise in virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions and has contributed to the development of VDI best practices within the Citrix environment.

Daniel Tackett obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Northern Kentucky University, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. Daniel has also acquired several certifications, including the Double VCP in Data Center Virtualization & Desktop Mobility, VMware Certified Professional - Desktop Management 2022, VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization 2022, Citrix Certified Expert - Virtualization (CCE-V), IBM Cloud Essentials, Kali Linux on Windows 10 First Look, Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Citrix Certified Sales Professional, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
