Eric Emmanuele Msod

Eric Emmanuele MSOD, IAAI-CFI (Ret.) has extensive work experience in safety, security, emergency management, and investigative roles. Eric recently joined Cedar Fair Entertainment Company as the Director of Safety, Security, & Emergency Management. Prior to that, they worked for the City of Milpitas for over three decades, holding various positions including Chief Enforcement Officer/Investigator, Fire/Arson/Explosion Investigator, and Police Officer/Detective. In their roles, they conducted fire, arson, and explosion investigations, developed and trained fire investigation teams, and served as a field training officer and canine handler. Their expertise and experience span a wide range of public safety and security domains.

Eric Emmanuele MSOD, IAAI-CFI (Ret.) completed their education history with a Master of Science in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco, which was obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the same university, from 2000 to 2004. In addition to their education, Eric holds various certifications including being an ASIS Member from ASIS International, a Certified Fire Investigator (CCAI-CFI) from the California Conference of Arson Investigators, and a Certified Fire Investigator (IAAI-CFI) from the International Association of Arson Investigators. Eric also possesses certifications as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (CFEI), a Certified Vehicle Fire Investigator (CVFI), and an Evidence Collection Technician (IAAI-ECT) from the National Association of Fire Investigators and the International Association of Arson Investigators respectively.
