Martin Avila

Group Chief Executive Officer at CEIS Group

Martin Avila began their work experience in 2007 as a co-founder and Development Coordinator at Xchange Scotland, where they developed volunteering and education programs and secured funding for the organization. In 2012, they became the Director of Xchange Scotland, overseeing staff and project management, financial and strategic planning, and infrastructure development.

In 2009, Martin joined Deafblind Scotland as a Guide Communicator and later became a Project Manager, working to raise awareness of dual sensory impairment among medical professionals and provide support for patients.

In 2015, they joined Kinning Park Complex SCIO as the Development Director, responsible for setting strategic direction, securing funding, and managing staff. In 2019, they took on the role of Director, responsible for executive management and strategic development of the organization.

Most recently, in 2021, Martin Avila became the Group Chief Executive Officer at CEIS Group.

Martin Avila attended Abertay University from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sociology.
