Marcello Damiani

Marcello Damiani is a board member at Cellarity and was previously Sr. Vice President & group CIO at bioMerieux. Marcello has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and has been a driving force in many crucial IT projects essential to the strategic operational goals of their previous company. These projects include the creation of a global ERP (SAP), customer web sites, global HR and CRM systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Laboratory Information Management systems, R&D tools, and more.

Marcello has also simplified IT infrastructure and networks, and identified as well as developed the capability to use new tools. Marcello has consolidated existing data centers in 3 regional ones and reshaped the overall IT support model with the outsourcing of low value activities and by reinforcing architecture, business and project management skills. Additionally, they have anticipated technology trends in the market place, ensuring that the business navigates these trends through expert guidance and proper strategic IT planning.

Marcello Damiani has a Master of Business Administration from HEC Paris, NYU Stern School of Business, and The London School of Economics and Political Science. Marcello also has a Masters in Information Systems and Communication Architecture from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III.
