Marcus Sonestedt has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Marcus also worked on a rendering backend using Gamebryo and sound module using ogg-vorbis. Marcus's work experience started with a summer internship at Tific AB, where they developed an algorithm for drawing lines in a state/flowchart algorithm.

Marcus Sonestedt attended ABB Industrigymnasium in Ludvika from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Gymnasieexamen degree. The fields of study included Electrics, Mechanics, English, and other subjects. Following their time at ABB Industrigymnasium, Marcus went on to study at Chalmers University of Technology. Marcus pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from 1998 to 2003.
