Tim F. is currently a Fellow in Technology & National Security at the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), where Tim leads a research program focused on the governance of artificial intelligence and specialized computer hardware. Prior to CNAS, Tim held various positions in companies such as Fathom Radiant, Eliiza, and Digital Agriculture Services, where Tim worked on developing and scaling up production machine learning systems. Tim's extensive background also includes roles in optimization consulting, engineering, and space education. Tim holds Bachelor's degrees in Philosophy and Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering.
