Sara Abdel Rahim

Sara Abdel Rahim has a strong background in institutional giving and foundation relations. Sara is currently serving as the Senior Director of Institutional Giving at the Center for American Progress, where they previously held the role of Director of Foundation Relations. Prior to their work at the Center for American Progress, Sara served as the Associate Director of Development at Georgetown University Law Center. Sara also has experience in project management and development, having worked as the Director of Development and Projects at The Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy. Sara's earlier experience includes a summer internship at UNAIDS, where they contributed to regional advocacy campaigns and helped establish a civil society network. Sara began their career as an Admissions Representative at The Johns Hopkins University and later worked in development and alumni relations at the Johns Hopkins University Office of Development & Alumni Relations. Overall, Sara brings a diverse range of skills and experiences to their current role in institutional giving.

Sara Abdel Rahim has a Master's degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from SOAS University of London. Before that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in International Studies & Anthropology from The Johns Hopkins University.
