Sarah Blanco

Sarah Blanco has a diverse work experience in the field of social work and psychotherapy. Sarah started their career as a Program Coordinator at Visiting Nurse Service of New York in 2008. Sarah then worked as a Clinical Director for Housing and Mental Health at Harlem United from 2012 to 2014 and later as a Senior Clinical Director for the same organization from 2014 to 2014. In 2013, they joined the National Institute for the Psychotherapies as a Psychotherapist. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the Director of Programs at Getting Out and Staying Out, where they managed various programs and initiatives for justice-involved men. Sarah then worked as a Psychotherapist in private practice from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Supervising Social Worker at Mental Health Service Corps, overseeing a collaborative care model. Currently, they serve as the Clinical Director at the Center for Court Innovation since 2019. Throughout their career, they have been involved in program development, grant management, clinical and administrative supervision, and public speaking engagements.

Sarah Blanco has a Post Master's Certificate in Executive Leadership in the Not-for-Profit Sector from New York University. Sarah also holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree with a focus on Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley. Sarah has obtained a SIFI Certification from Hunter College and has received training in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from the National Institute for Psychotherapies (NIP). Additionally, they have obtained a Certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
