Sara Burmenko

Digital Learning Director at Center for Puppetry Arts

Sara Burmenko has had extensive work experience at the Center for Puppetry Arts. Sara started in 2000 as an In-House Instructor/Preschool Specialist and later became the In-House Coordinator of the Education Department from 2002 to 2004. Sara then transitioned to the role of Distance Learning Instructor in 2007 and progressively advanced to the positions of Distance Learning Operations Coordinator and Distance Learning Assistant Director. Currently, they hold the position of Digital Learning Director. In addition, they also briefly held the role of Museum Services & Volunteer/Internship Coordinator in 2006.

Sara Burmenko attended Georgia College & State University from 1994 to 1998. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching for grades K-5.
