Nuno Sales Henriques

Nuno Sales Henriques is a PhD Fellow at the Centre of Marine Sciences (CCMAR) since January 2021, with extensive experience in environmental consultancy and research. Nuno has been associated with Universidade do Algarve - CCMar as an M.Sc. Researcher from December 2011 to present, working full-time from December 2011 until July 2014. Various roles include environmental consulting for Petrogas E&P and Repsol, focusing on environmental baseline assessments associated with oil rig installations and offshore wind farm constructions in 2022. Nuno has also held positions at NEC Corporation, Fugro, and BibbyHydromap, engaging in habitat assessments and marine environmental studies. Nuno holds a Master of Science in Fisheries and Aquaculture and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology, both from the University of Algarve.
