Julia Bibko

Julia Bibko's work experience includes a role as a Learning & Engagement Associate at Buffalo Toronto Public Media starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Qualitative Researcher at Charles River Media Group from August 2022 onwards. Before their positions in media, Julia served as a Special Education/Social Studies Teacher at Erie 1 BOCES from September 2019 to June 2022. Julia also gained experience as a Special Education Teacher at the NYC Department of Education from September 2018 to June 2019.

Julia Bibko has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Reading Specialist from Teachers College, Columbia University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in History and Education from SUNY Brockport. Julia also holds additional certifications including a Google UX Design Certificate from Coursera and a Visual Design: The Ultimate Guide certificate from the Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF). Julia has professional teaching certifications in History, Students with Disabilities, and Literacy from the New York State Education Department. Additionally, Julia is a certified Newsela Educator.
