Thor Oren

Thor Oren is a seasoned professional in the hospitality and design industries, currently serving as General Manager at L’EXPRESS since May 2024 and Restaurant Manager at Chef Driven Hospitality since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Bar Manager at Cafe D'Alsace from August 2017 to October 2023 and at Dagon from 2020 to 2022, where responsibilities included bar layout design, cocktail menu creation, and staff training. Additionally, Thor worked as a freelance furniture designer and craftsman from May 2016 to 2022, and held various positions including Bartender at Playa Betty's and Studio Assistant at Brown University and Matthias Pliessnig. Thor holds a Level 3 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design.
