Job description

The Events Manager will be responsible for planning, executing and managing various events for the company, including conferences, webinars, trade shows, and other industry events. The Event Manager will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that events are aligned with the company's overall business objectives and that they effectively promote the company's products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute a wide range of events, including conferences, webinars, trade shows, and other industry events.
  • Work with the marketing and sales teams to ensure that events are aligned with the company's overall business objectives and that they effectively promote the company's products and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with event partners, sponsors, and vendors.
  • Develop and manage event budgets and ensure that events are executed within budget.
  • Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, registration, and on-site management.
  • Develop and implement event marketing plans, including email campaigns, social media promotions, and other marketing materials.
  • Analyze event metrics to measure success and make recommendations for future events.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in event management and incorporate them into event planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with other internal teams, such as product development, to ensure that events align with the company's overall strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Event Manager or similar role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, sponsors, and vendors.
  • Strong understanding of event marketing and promotion, including email marketing and social media.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure event success and make recommendations for future events.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in event management.
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry and its key players is a plus
  • Experience with budget management and financial analysis.

The Event Manager will be a key member of the marketing team and will work closely with other departments to ensure that events are aligned with the company's overall business objectives and that they effectively promote the company's products and services.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and executing successful events, and will be a strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective event marketing plans.
