Jörg Wimmer

Jörg Wimmer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jörg is currently working at CHERRY since 2018, where they have held positions such as Senior Manager Global Technical Project Management, Senior Project Manager, and Project Manager. Prior to this, in 2020, they worked as a Lehrbeauftragter at OTH Amberg-Weiden. From 2016 to 2018, Jörg worked as a Service Product Manager at BHS Corrugated Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH, where they were responsible for the management and development of service and M2P product groups. Jörg also gained experience in quality management as a Studentische Hilfskraft at OTH Amberg-Weiden from 2013 to 2014. Before transitioning to the private sector, Jörg served as a Soldat auf Zeit (SaZ) in the Bundeswehr from 2001 to 2014. Jörg started their professional career in 1999 as an Auszubildender zum Kaufmann im Groß- und Außenhandel at Baumaterialien-Handelsgesellschaft AG.

Jörg Wimmer obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Handels- und Dienstleistungsmanagement from OTH Amberg-Weiden, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they completed a program at REFA Bayern e.V. to become a REFA-Arbeitsorganisator. Jörg also attended Quin Akademie, Deggendorf in 2009 and obtained a degree in Qualitätsmanager. In addition, Jörg Wimmer studied Einkauf und Logistik at DAA Marburg / IHK Kassel from 2006 to 2007, earning a Fachkaufmann für Einkauf und Logistik qualification.
