Michael Sonne is a highly experienced professional currently serving as a Baseball Scientist for the Chicago Cubs since October 2022. In addition to this role, Michael has been an Adjunct Professor at both Ontario Tech University and Brock University since 2019 and 2018, respectively. Michael held the position of Chief Scientist at ProPlayAI until May 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing the development of innovative markerless motion capture systems. Before that, Michael worked as Vice President of Innovations and Research at 3MotionAI, focusing on enhancing personal performance. Previous roles include Ergonomist at Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers Inc. and Director at LeadErgonomics, specializing in office ergonomics and risk management software. Michael's academic background includes a PhD in Biomechanics and Ergonomics from McMaster University, as well as Master’s and Bachelor's degrees in Kinesiology from the University of Windsor.
