Graciela Guzmán

Graciela Guzmán is an accomplished organizer with extensive experience in policy advocacy, political management, and community outreach. Currently serving as an Organizer at the Chicago Teachers Union since August 2023, Guzmán previously held the role of District Director for Senator Cristina Pacione-Zayas from September 2022 to August 2023, overseeing team operations and constituent services. As Political Director, Guzmán played a pivotal role in the successful re-election campaigns for Senators Pacione-Zayas and Omar Aquino, as well as other local candidates. Previous positions include Director of Policy and Advocacy at Aunt Martha's Health & Wellness and Campaign Director for the Healthy Illinois Campaign. Guzmán's career includes significant experience in health promotion and outreach, managing teams to enhance access to healthcare services across multiple communities. Guzmán holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Grinnell College.
