Julianna Carlson

Julianna Carlson has extensive experience in public health research, currently serving as a Research Scientist at Child Trends since July 2018, where previous roles included Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst. Prior experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the Public Health Law Center and a Graduate Research Fellow for Children of Incarcerated Caregivers. Early career positions encompass roles such as Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and Special Education Assistant at Minneapolis Public Schools, along with serving as a Lead Teacher at Miniapple International Montessori. Julianna Carlson holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a focus on Maternal and Child Health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Macalester College. Additionally, Julianna Carlson participated in the International Honors Program in Comparative Health at the School for International Training.
