Jocelyn Avila currently serves as Family Training Support and FS - Compliance and Program Support at the Children's Council of San Francisco since April 2022. Previously, from February 2019 to November 2020, Jocelyn was a Protection & Legal Affairs Associate at the Consulate General of Mexico in San Francisco, where responsibilities included building relationships with local agencies and managing child support and custody cases. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at COMMUNITY RESOURCE INITIATIVE, focusing on data analysis for legal mitigation, and a role in Community Outreach at the National Equal Justice Association. Jocelyn Avila holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from San Francisco State University, completed in 2018.
