Emma Yicheng Wu has a diverse work experience. Emma Yicheng started as a Summer Intern at the American Red Cross in 2012 and continued to work there as a Youth Lead until 2015. In 2014, they also worked as a Sales Associate at The North Face. In 2016, they did an Accounting Internship at the Corazon de Vida Foundation. Emma Yicheng then joined Self-Help for the Elderly in 2015 and held multiple roles including Training Instructor, Project Manager, Assistant Director of Employment Services & Emergency Preparedness Specialist, and finally Administrator; Home Care and Hospice, where they managed interdepartmental collaboration, represented the company at media interviews and community meetings, and developed outreach materials. In 2023, they became the Director of Business Development at Chinese Hospital.
Emma Yicheng Wu obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Management from UC Irvine, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have also completed the Home Care Manager Certificate Program from the California Association for Health Services at Home (CAHSAH) in November 2021.
