David Smart

David Smart has extensive work experience in the gaming and entertainment industry. David started their career at Caesars Entertainment Corporation in 2003, where they held various roles including Slot Performance Supervisor, Assistant Slot Performance Manager, and Slot Performance Manager. In these positions, they managed teams and oversaw the performance of slot machines. David also played a key role in a $5.3 million casino expansion project and introduced the first smoking patio in an Ohio casino.

In 2016, Smart joined JACK Entertainment as the Director of Slot Operations, responsible for the selection, merchandising, and overall performance of the slot floor at JACK Casino Cincinnati. David managed a staff of 75+ employees across four different departments and achieved a monthly revenue of $10 million.

Later in 2016, Smart moved to Miami Valley Gaming, where they initially served as the Facilities Manager and Warehouse Manager. David then became the Director of Facilities, overseeing all facility-related operations.

Currently, Smart holds the position of Senior Director of Facilities at Churchill Downs Incorporated, starting in 2022.

David Smart attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1996 to 2000, but no degree or field of study was specified.
