Stefan Merkens

Stefan Merkens is a Postdoctoral Researcher at CIC nanoGUNE, with experience in developing quantitative methods for Liquid-Phase TEM. Prior to this, Stefan has worked as a Doctoral Researcher at DESY and as a Guest Researcher at CIC biomaGUNE and ESRF, focusing on In Situ SAXS measurements in microfluidic mixing reactors for time-resolved study of nanoparticle Self-Assembly. Stefan also has experience as a Research Intern at CIC biomaGUNE and holds a PhD in Physics of Nanostructures and Advanced Materials from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, a Master's in Nanoscience from Universität Hamburg, and a Bachelor's in Nanoscience from Universität Hamburg.
