Alan Fraser

Alan Fraser has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alan currently works as a Product Design Lead and Senior Team Manager at Reckitt since January 2021. Prior to that, they were a Co-Founder and Programme Delivery Manager (Advisory Role) at CirculOil from August 2020. Alan also holds the position of Co-Founder at ORIGINAL BEARD CO LTD since March 2016, where they successfully operated a boutique grooming and cosmetics company and grew it into a five-figure revenue business within three years without external investment.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Alan worked at Nexcel Ltd from July 2017 to August 2020. In this role, they served as a Product Lead and Engineering Integration Delivery Manager, where they excelled in understanding customer needs, designing and delivering digital and physical products/services, and developing a customer-led business strategy. Alan also worked as a Project Manager at Nexcel Ltd from July 2017 to July 2019, managing concurrent projects in the automotive sector, influencing senior leaders, negotiating contracts, and managing performance.

Prior to Nexcel Ltd, Alan had an extensive career at BP. From August 2013 to July 2017, they held the position of Project Portfolio Delivery Manager, overseeing the delivery of 13 projects totaling $8 million and implementing a lessons learned system to address areas of poor performance. Alan also worked as a Lead Project Engineer from March 2012 to August 2013, successfully delivering a major maintenance project within budget and reducing specialist maintenance contractor costs. Alan started their career at BP as an Asset Engineer from March 2010 to February 2011 and as a Mechanical Engineer from August 2008 to March 2010.

Alan Fraser attended The University of Edinburgh from 2003 to 2008 and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they also hold two additional certifications: an Agile Expert Certificate of Proficiency from IBM obtained in July 2019, and The bp Way - Project Management Expert certification from bp obtained in February 2015.
