Alessondra Speidel

Head of Preclinical Research at Cirqle Biomedical

Alessondra Speidel has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Alessondra began as a College Application Consultant and Tutor, working with fourteen clients in the greater London area, as an instructor for an Ivy Insiders SAT Prep Course, and as a tutor for Syracuse University Athletic Department and Duke University Peer Tutoring Program. In 2008, they became a Research Intern at SUNY Upstate Medical University Biochemistry Department, and in 2009 they were a Duke University Collegiate Athletic Premedical Experience Intern at Duke University Medical Center. In 2010, they were a Pratt Fellow at Duke University Biomedical Engineering Department, and in 2015 they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at TWins (Tokyo Women's Medical University-Waseda University Joint Institution for Adv Biomedical Sci). In 2017, they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at Karolinska Institutet, and in 2021 they were a Lecturer for DIS - Study Abroad. Alessondra is currently the Head of Preclinical Research at Cirqle Biomedical.

Alessondra Speidel received a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University in 2011, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cardiac Regeneration from Imperial College London in 2015.
