Prior to this role, Curt worked as a Cybersecurity Law & Policy Attorney at the US Department of Homeland Security from August 2011 to November 2018, offering legal advice on cyber-related activities for civilian federal agencies and critical infrastructure. Curt's extensive background in the U.S. Department of Defense as both an aviator and attorney spanned from May 1984 to November 2011. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy, a Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law, a Master of Laws in Military Law from the Judge Advocate General's School, and a Master’s Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College.
