Pat Beere

Pat Beere, BSc, CAMS, is a Compliance AML Risk Management Officer and Vice President at Citi, a role they began in August 2022, where they focus on AML and financial crime matters. With over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, Pat's expertise includes criminal asset identification, money laundering investigations, and coordination with Europol. They previously held positions as a Detective Garda in the Criminal Assets Bureau and in An Garda Síochána, where they managed various investigations and teams. Pat has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Leadership and Corporate Governance from UCD Michael Smurfit Executive School, along with a Higher National Diploma in Intelligence Studies from the University of Limerick. Personal interests include culinary pursuits and cycling.
