Dante Bidwell

Dante Bidwell serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for the City/Parish of Baton Rouge since May 2022, having previously held the position of Chief Of Staff in the Office of the Mayor-President. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Of Staff for the New Orleans Police Department from December 2016 to May 2022, where leadership was provided to an organization of approximately 1,350, focusing on departmental finance, technology, and policy reform. Earlier roles include Performance Analyst for the City of New Orleans, where public service improvements were prioritized based on performance data analysis, and Assistant to the Executive Director at Southeastern Louisiana University, overseeing special events and fundraising efforts. Dante Bidwell's educational background includes a Master of Science in Applied Sociology and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Performing Arts from Southeastern Louisiana University.
