Andrea L. Spencer

Andrea L. Spencer, AICP, currently serves as the Director of Community Development for the City of Bremerton, a position held since September 2005, where responsibilities include managing current planning, long range planning, the building department, tax and license, and federal CDBG Block Grant programs. Previously, Andrea was the Planning Manager for the City of Bremerton, overseeing long range planning and federal CDBG Block Grant programs, and served as a Senior Planner for the City of Shoreline, leading the Long Range Planning Division. Earlier roles include Associate Planner for the City of Mountlake Terrace, focusing on permit processing and long range planning, and a Teaching Assistant and Instructor in Landscape Architecture at Washington State University, emphasizing design studios and grading & drainage instruction. Andrea holds a Master of Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, both from Washington State University.
