Shannon Casey, AICP has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. They began their career in 1997 as a Planner for the City of Henderson. In 1998, Shannon also started working as an Adjunct Instructor at the College of Southern Nevada, a role they held until 2002.

In 2002, Shannon transitioned to the City of Santa Maria Human Resources Division, where they worked as a Planner II until 2004. Following this, Shannon joined the City of Fontana as a Senior Planner in 2004 and held this position until 2016. They then moved into the role of Senior Engineer for the same organization, which they currently hold.

Throughout their career, Shannon has also been involved in teaching, holding the position of Adjunct Instructor at Chaffey College from 2005 to 2013.

Shannon Casey, AICP, pursued their education in the field of Geography and Geography Teacher Education. Building upon their knowledge and expertise, they then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Geography Teacher Education from South Dakota State University from 1994 to 1996.
