Edmond S. has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Edmond started their career in 2010 as a Resident Advisor at Augsburg University, where they provided guidance and support to students. In 2007, they joined the Minnesota Department of Transportation as a Transportation Generalist Para Professional, where they surveyed state highways and maintained a geodetic database. Edmond then worked at the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Remediation Division as an Environmental Specialist, conducting compliance inspections and responding to complaints. In 2013, they joined Anoka County as an Environmental Health Specialist, before moving on to become the President of the Minnesota Association of Housing Code Officials in 2019. Their most recent position was with the City of Minneapolis as a Lead Housing Inspector, where they also served as the Homeowner Navigation Program Coordinator and Rental Housing Liaison. In this role, they assisted residents dealing with housing issues, coordinated clean-up efforts, and developed partnerships with various agencies to ensure assistance for participants.

Edmond S. has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Environmental Studies, Urban Studies, and Sociology from Augsburg University.
