City government of Olympia, Washington (State Capitol)

Olympia was incorporated in 1859 and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2009. Olympia is a Council-Manager city, with a seven member  City Council including an elected Mayor. The City Manager has executive authority  to oversee and manage municipal services and operations.
