Michael Sloon

Michael Sloon has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Michael began their career in 1979 as a Technical Analyst for GTE Data Services. In 1995, they worked as an Accountant for Yakima County Auditor before becoming a Sr. Manager at Yakima County in 1997. Since 2009, Michael has served as the Director of Innovation Technology Services Department at the City of Spokane, where they are responsible for implementing strategic IT plans and solutions, empowering IT leadership and staff, and providing cost-effective technology solutions for the city.

From 1993 to 1995, Michael Sloon attended Central Washington University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
