Jonathan Restivo

Jonathan Restivo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the real estate and communications industry. Jonathan is currently serving as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) at Cityside Fiber since March 2021. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2022, they owned Empire Blue Real Estate, where they provided consulting, legal, and brokerage services, specializing in telecom site development and residential acquisitions and dispositions.

Before Empire Blue Real Estate, Jonathan worked as a Strategic Development Manager at Smartlink, LLC from 2013 to 2015. Jonathan also held the position of Executive Vice President/COO at Waveright Communications Servicing from 2011 to 2013.

In 2010, they worked in the legal department of Core Capital Management, handling various legal issues including contract drafting, real estate brokerage creation, and research on leverage, insurance, and expansion opportunities.

Jonathan also worked as a Legal and Project Coordinator at Tallen & Keshen Holdings in 2010, where they participated in deal-making negotiations, steered litigation strategy, and compiled documents for property sales.

Additionally, they gained research experience as a Research Assistant for Professor Grant Nelson at Pepperdine University in 2010, focusing on a comparative study of U.S. and Canadian foreclosure law.

Their early work experience includes serving as a Law Clerk at Allied Expert Real Estate in 2009, where they revamped business development and marketing strategies, composed contracts, and reviewed title documents.

Jonathan Restivo earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut between 2004 and 2007. Jonathan then pursued further education and obtained a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from Pepperdine Law between 2008 and 2011. After completing their law degree, Jonathan Restivo also obtained additional certifications. In April 2012, they became a Real Estate Broker certified by the California Department of Real Estate. In December 2011, they obtained a license as an Attorney from the State Bar of California.
