James Baker

James Baker is an experienced professional in community impact and resource management with a robust background in coordinating programs aimed at financial stability and resource accessibility. Currently serving as the HUBS Manager at Civic Works since February 2022, James previously worked as the Community Impact and Resource Coordinator at The Housing Authority of the City of Frederick from July 2019 to May 2022, where responsibilities included case management for Section 8 voucher holders and program implementation to support community needs. Prior to that, James held the position of Prosperity Center Manager at United Way of Frederick County from June 2015 to June 2019, developing community partnerships and overseeing educational workshops and financial asset programs. James holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Economics and Finance from Hood College.
