Ferdinand Uittenbogaard

Ferdinand Uittenbogaard has a wealth of experience in various roles related to information security and privacy. 💾 Ferdinand has worked as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for several organizations, including CIZ, Centrum indicatiestelling zorg and Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden. In these roles, they were responsible for improving security compliance, implementing information security management systems, and reporting to the CEO. Ferdinand also worked as a Privacy Officer for DIVD Academy, where they focused on privacy-related matters. Additionally, they have experience as an Army Reservist and a GDPR & Security Specialist for the Department of Defense. Ferdinand has further expertise in teaching auditing and security as a freelance Docent for Security Academy. 💾 Ferdinand has also worked as an Executive Partner for Longamanu BV, providing interim management, consultancy, and audit services in information security, cyber security, and privacy. Ferdinand's previous experience includes serving as a CISO for ANWB and the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, where they played a critical role in improving cyber security posture, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Ferdinand Uittenbogaard completed their education with a Master's Degree LL.M. in Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam, which they pursued from 1989 to 1995. Prior to this, they pursued their undergraduate studies at Libanon Scholengemeenschap Rotterdam from 1986 to 1988. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ferdinand has obtained numerous certifications in the field of information security and privacy, including CDPSE from ISACA, CIPP/E from IAPP, Certified Trainer (S-CT) from SECO-Institute, Certified Blockchain Professional from EC-Council, SCCISP from IoT Security Institute, CGEIT Certified Governance Enterprise IT from ISACA, Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA, CISSP from (ISC)², RE (Register EDP IT auditor) Executive Master of IT Auditing from NOREA, and Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA.
